Rio: The Ultimate Carnival Party Edition – Review

Rio, Rio, Rio… oh how you have bought colour, music and laughter into our front room  - and five minutes to myself! Popsy and Boo loved watching Rio – The Ultimate Carnival Party Edition! In fact we were all loved it as we were able to sit down and watch this together as a family.

A fantastic and colourful story of two exotic macaws – Blu and Jewel who set out on an adventure of a lifetime after being ‘matched’ as the only two left of their kind. Set in Rio de Janeiro, the film represents filmmaker Carlos Saldanha’s visions of his magical hometown, the colourful jungle, the beach paradise, the sprawling metropolis and the celebration to end all celebrations, known as Carnival. Rio also features music from Sergio Mendes!

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment are releasing Rio is on Blu-ray and DVD on 24th October 2011. Both feature an ‘Angry Birds Rio’ download of 15 all new exclusive levels – available on PC, MAC, tablet and mobile phone (Apple/ Andriod) as well as a digital download.

Pop here to for great Rio games and activities, in fact this review has taken me so long to do as I keep playing Rio Dance! It’s addictive and so is the music!

Rio is a colourful, musical and fun family film – buy it now on DVD for £19.99 or Blu-ray Triple Play for £24.99. You won’t be sorry!

DISCLAIMER: I was sent this DVD for review, free of charge. As always all opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.

Music Monday #3 Blog Hop

For some reason last Monday passed with a blur – as well as missing week two of Clairejustineoxox’s Music Monday I also forgot to take Boo for his 12/13 month jabs! This week I wrote it on my calendar so I didn’t forget!

Here is what I originally chose for last week, this week, the music we played as our first dance at my wedding four years ago. (It’s not the original video and was all that I could find!).

If you want to join in post the YouTube video for any song of your choice and tell us a little about it, easy peasy!
