I can’t believe I haven’t been on here for such a long time – I had to step away from my blog for a little while as a lot of things were happening and something had to take a back seat! I needed to sort my head out and now things have calmed down.

I did have reservations about coming back on here, I have to admit that I didn’t miss it for a while, but slowly my brain keeps directing thoughts and ideas towards my blog and my fingers have been itching to type! So here I am – ready to pick up where I left. I will also try my hardest to update Project 360 as I’ve still been taking a picture a day since the day I last posted!! We’ll see how that continues too!

So what has happened since I’ve been away? Hmm… quite a lot! I’ve had a weekend away at my sister-in-law’s hen party in Newcastle, fun in the snow and the sun, work (as always), my hair cut and coloured for the first time in over a year, my brothers wedding, my Dad’s and my father-in-law’s 60ths, my brother-in-law’s and his girlfriends 30ths and a great day out in London at the Ideal Home Show with my two best friends sans children! These are most of the things I can remember off of the top of my head, but it’s been a busy and enjoyable time! I also mustn’t forget that things have been moving along slowly but surely with the extension – we are now at the stage were we need to think of a colour scheme, carpet and furniture. 

Whilst I was away an ex-student of mine left a comment on my About Me page – it was a lovely surprise to hear from him and about his new family, it’s always heart-warming when someone finds your blog through a search engine and takes the time to read it and comment. Thanks Leigh!

Thanks to everyone for your support and your comments as always, they are very much appreciated and always bring a smile to my face. Most of you have kept in touch with me on Twitter – although my appearances have been short and sporadic!
